Long time lurker, first time poster
I live in the UK, and I noticed that today, 02 + CarphoneWarehouse have dropped their prices of the iPhone 8gb to free, and the 16gb to £60 if you take out a 24 month contract.
I've been going crazy over getting an iphone, and now that it's affordable for me, I'm sorely tempted. However, I know that there's a lot of rumours about a potential new iPhone, and I was just wondering whether I should bite the bullet and buy one now?
I can't remember what happened with the last upgrade, but I think consumers could have their contracts cancelled and receive a brand new iphone if they took out a new contract? Do you think I would be offered that? Because if the new iphone is like seriously amazing, I would be tempted to get that, even though I like the iPhone as it is, but it's this general sense of unknowing that annoys me because something might be included that I could need/use.[bloody apple's marketing techniques.. honestly, why can't they tell us what's gunna be in it?]
What do you think will be the main big features of it?
I already have a 10mp Camera with Video so i'm not overly fussed about whether theres a great camera/video or not. Anything else that might be included tho?
Also, OS 3.0 will be free upgrade won't it?
