Hi there folks.
As the title says you have probably been asked this before and I have had a wee look but you might be able to tell me quicker than I could find out.
The question is can I upgrade my iBook G4 933MHZ from 640 meg of ram to 1.25 meg of ram.
I know apple say 640 is the max for my iBook but I have read some places you can put a 1 meg chip in the spare slot.
I have just downgraded from a G4 aluminum 1.25GHZ 15" which has had no end of problems to this as I did have a 12" iBook before and had no trouble with it at all.
I have just ordered a 5400rpm 160GB HD for it and was looking to bump up the ram and I will also get an airport card form pc world which they are kindly doing for £9.97 which is mucho cheap.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Deano.

I had a 1 Ghz iBook G4 that I got 1 gig RAM chip into. It would probably work, but your total RAM would be 1.128 Gb.
