macOS Newbie... automator assistance

Hi,

A recent switch from windows to Mac and it's great. I have a 13 MBA, running lion.

having issues attaching files from the VM to outlook (use office 2011 for the mac). So my work around was as follows:

Create a folder action in automator, such that

1. if a file is saved to the folder, it gets creates a new outlook message and attaches the file.
2. after attaching the file, it deletes the file from the folder.

I cant seem to get this work, and would appreciate any feedback/help
