Newbie - how to upgrade from 10.13

Hi there.
Newbie here.
Experience limited in the Mac world.
Just got a new to me Mac Mini i7 2012 running 10.13.6.

Appplied the few updates that were outstanding.
There is no OS upgrade showing as an option in the App Store panel.
Check for updates reveals nothing.

How to I get from 10.13 to 10.14 and then 10.15, which this Mini will run.
fyi 16Gb, 256Gb SSD, 1TbHDD

The link above will get you a 10.15 (Catalina) installer. You don't need to install 10.14 Mojave before upgrading to Catalina.
