Het all,

First post and since getting an i phone a couple of years back, im all Macd out!!!

1) My macbook has been running perfectly but the mail app has started being an ass for no reason. Last week it was fine, but now when i try to pull my gmail account through i get this message constantly:

'The Gmail IMAP server “imap.gmail.com” is not responding. Try checking the network connection, and that the server name is correct. Otherwise, the server might be temporarily unavailable. If you continue, you might not be able to receive messages.'

2) Also when using chrome its constantly telling me to update Flash, but hwen directed to the site Adobe is telling me that chrome is running the correct version. Also if in chrome i click 'run this version' flash runs fine. Bizarre.

Any help for this newbie would be great

Cheers, Stuart

I have gotten the google servers error before, I just hit refresh and it worked.

As for the flash, try deleting the current file and reinstalling.
