Newbie Q- JB IPhone 4 on different PC

Hi,

New here and want to JB Iphone 4 (4.2.1) and have a few q's. Found lots of help in the forum but just want confirmation on a few things;

1. My Iphone designated PC is at work and set to autosync so there will be a back up file on that PC. I am off for this week and want to jailbreak using GP on my home PC, I know you do not need Itunes open to JB and wanted to know if I can do this on my home PC, then when back at work continue to sync/add music etc ? essentially can I JB on another PC than the one Iphone is linked to and not loose any data?

2. After installing GP on my Iphone will I still have all contacts, music etc?

3. Will my phone just work as normal immediately after or do I need to reactivate network etc...?

Jailbreaking does not limit any current functionality, it only extends it. So anything you could do before the jailbreak, you can still do.
