Hi all
Got a question, I'd like to install iOS4.2.1GM, if I go for a restore up to 4.2.1 will I lose all of my apps? Do I get an option to upgrade rather than restore? And can I do it via iTunes 10.1 on Windows 7?

Thanks for taking the time to read

If you restore, everything will be taken off your iPad and then put back on via iTunes. I think an upgrade will keep your data in tact

Yes, do an upgrade not restore to keep your data. Just open iTunes, hold down the left Shift button (or ALT on a Mac) and click Check For Upgrades. It will open a window where you can browse for the 4.2.1 file you downloaded.
