Newbie question - Will I be able to use jailbroken 3G and new 4G with same SIM?

I have a jailbroken 3G. I am planning to upgrade to the new 4G. Will I be able to use the same SIM card in the new 4G and (through an adapter) in the old 3G while I wait for the 4G jailbrek to become available? I need tethering but only occasionally, so swapping the card wouldn't be a big problem for me.

Is there an adapter to make a micro sim work in a regular sim device ?

There is no 4G, it's iPhone 4.

With that said, I don't see why it wouldn't work if the iPhone 4 was your main phone and you took out the SIM, put in an adapter like you say, and use in your 3G. It all depends on that adapter being available as I have seen people cut their SIM cards down to fit in a MicroSIM slot so the "pins" must be the same.

Yes there is over at microsim-shop.com

The microsim is the same as the one in the iphone now and is also the same as the credit card sized ones that where in Directv and Dish network sat receivers. The only difference is the size of the plastic around the card.
