i'm running 10.4.11 on a macbook pro. Can i just download 10.5.5 and install it on this macbook pro? I just bought an xserve and its running 10.5.5 and i need to running admin tools from my macbook.

you need to buy 10.5 on DVD and then update via Software update to get to the Latest and greatest release number 10.5.5
what about server?
can i install the server 10.5.5 on my laptop so i can access it? i have that cd.
