Just received my new imac a couple days ago and have a couple newbie questions:

1. How do you open multiple windows in Safari? For the life of me I cannot see how to do this, and it's driving me nuts only being able to have 1 window open for the internet.

2. I thought some kind of automatic system maintenance program would be handy. I have seem some mention http://www.atomicbird.com/macaroni for $10, but I also found a widget at http://www.apple.com/downloads/dashboard/networking_security/maintenancewidget.html. Is one better than the other?

I'm sure I'll lots of other questions in the coming weeks.

Thanks

1. In Safari, first go to preferences click on tabs and activate tabbed browsing. Then all you need to do in order to make a new tab is press apple + T.

2. I don't use these types of programs.
