Hi, on location we have a couple camera's, a few mac mini servers and at the datacentre a dedicated server running linux, somehow I need to setup a solution so we can uplink to the server a live video and the viewer can watch it in their web browser.

Thank You, Alex.

If you don't mind serving video off a Mac Mini, QuickTime Streaming Server is capable of handling jobs like this. It comes with Mac OS X Server.

Hi, is there anything wrong with serving video off a mac mini?, are they up to the job?

The CPU definitely will be, and so should the network. I think you'll be good - but I'd still suggest doing a test run first, just to see how well it performs before rolling it out to production.
