Hello,
I"m a returning mac user after years spent with windows. I know how to upload pics from my camera to window, but the same or similar routine isn't working for me for my mac. I've the cable plugged directly into the mini, and I've looked in finder, (?? nada). Can some help me pls.
Cheers,
Quinn

Does iPhoto launch when you plug in your camera?

If not, check your desktop or a Finder window to see if the camera or memory card is recognized as a drive/volume when it's plugged in.

iPhoto should launch on plugging camera in and turning it on to review mode. Wait a bit and a screen to import photos should open.

if iphoto doesn't automatically launch you can manually launch it. then go to preferences and in the general menu on the bottom make sure it says "Connecting Camera opens:" then select iphoto. this should help i would think
