I've never owned a Mac before, but I've been so impressed with my iPhone over the last 10 months or so that I'm considering buying a Mac Mini.

I assume that I'll need to pick up an Apple Mouse & Keyboard, but do I have to buy an Apple Display? Will my existing Dell monitor work with a Mac?

I assume that it would, but I figured that I'd check first. The monitor makes the difference between spending over $599 or spending over $1198!

Thanks!

It'll work fine. You don't need an apple mouse. Keyboard is probably convenient since it will have the apple key.

VGA will work too, if you want to pay $20 for the adapter. And I wouldn't go with the MightyMouse. Keyboard is excellent but mouse will gum up after a while, and now I'm just using a regular PC Mouse and its faring better.
