So coming from PC (yay) to the Mac world and I am struggling with a very basic copy question. In Windows you just have copy paste and the option to replace / skip existing files ... ideally I want to skip existing files.

I've STF and found nothing so far so apols in advance...

I have a directory say iTunes Media I am trying to copy (with directory structure) but don't need to replace exiting files in the destination directory within the directory structure. I could copy replace but this would make the job many multiples longer. Its from a USB SSD I run my iTunes and Photo files from (for speed and convenience) to a NAS - so I cannot use the NAS backup services to do the copy for me (the RSync etc servers cannot be mounted on the SSD).

I have looked at some copy and ditto scripts but non seem to fit the bill exactly.

Can someone please point me in the right direction.

Will copy (option) merge do what i require?
