iPod touch newbie with iTouch

I just got my itouch,downloaded music from media player alright by making new folder on desktop.. now i tried to do the same with a few pictures by making a new folder to desktop etc.. I've read that you open iTunes and go to photo's and then add folder,well i don't have photo under library..i have music movies tv shows radio and podcast???? ant ideas??? running windows xp..

Photos dont go into itunes, but directly to ipod

Plug in your ipod and hit the "Photo" tab along the top (above where it shows a pic of your ipod and its name and the bar that shows how much music etc you have in MB)

that's the problem i dont see photo tab in itunes

I believe you have to click on your ipod icon on the left hand side to bring up the tabs.

i dont see photo tab when i plug in itouch itunes opens up and ask me to update to 2.1 for 10 bucks..

i unplugged ipod and then replugged it in and itunes pops up and at the top it say sync done...

if your talking about i tunes no no pictures.. i tried to update itunes and it said 8.0 is the latest ver..
