When I used to work at Best Buy I noticed this alot on the newer macbooks. The light on the power cable will sometimes not turn on when plugged into the computer. It still charges the computer but the light just doesn't come on. If you unplug and replug it, it works fine. My Mid 2007 whitebook does just fine however my girlfriends newer macbook has this problem. Is this a hardware problem that was never addressed by Apple? Seems kind of odd.
