I have a 2007 iMac that runs Tiger 10.4.11 OSX. I have had AIM on my computer from the start, with no problems. Just recently, AIM suggested I upgrade to their newest version, so I did. Since then, AIM will not stay open for longer than 3-5 minutes at a time. It crashes, I send the reports to Apple and through the talk back agent, but this is getting incredibly frustrating. I'm using iChat in the meantime, but I do not believe this is a solution as much as a work-around.
Any ideas on how I can reverse back to the previous version of AIM/fix this problem!?
