My MacBook Pro had a screen problem. It had been in my bag all day, and hadn't been used. I opened the lid and the screen appeared to be normal but not responding in any way be it the mouse or keyboard commands. After perhaps one minute, the screen looked slightly weird. I looked at it closely and the screen had a grid sort of look to them, tinted white. Gradually over 5 minutes it came to an extreme white with distinct lines running downwards. The clock was frozen to 7:32 am, approximately when I would have stopped using it before I put it in my bag. I crashed it and it started up fine.

I think it might be a graphics related problem. I disabled it sleeping on lid shutting the day before, and I have been running gfxCardStatus since I got it. It has only happened once, but I was a bit worried.

About 3 minutes into the problem:

Just before I crashed it. Screen pretty much completely white:

Any reply would be appreciated.
