Having just picked up my macbook pro,mid 2010, 15inch, from apple this week due to a faulty logic board, it has just crashed after putting on an amazing light show where each pixel danced from left to right.

I was just doing work when this happend (i mean facebook and work), i was unable to use the keyboard during this state. I have never seen this before and am worried about it happening again. Should i go back to apple? Or should i just go on living my life.

I had something very similar happen to my Dell work laptop this year. They ended up replacing the screen, motherboard, connecting cable and the RAM but they still on't know what caused it.

What are the chances of claiming compensation from apple ? Its very frustrating having to give in your laptop for over a week due to a fault but having to do it again is even more annoying...
