Newly jailbroken phone and can't get it to tether with tetherme

I jailbroke my phone about a week ago and have installed tetherme from Cydia, I then went to settings-general-network but cannot tether, the option is there but is just a tox saying "To set up tethering" when I click it says to enable tethering contact Orange UK. How do I fix this so it works?

I'm using iPhone 3GS on Orange UK v.4.2.1
