Apps News app with push alerts.

I currently have follow MacRumors and 9to5 on Twitter, these two accounts are set to send notifications which in turn show on my Phone and watch via the twitter app.

Is there an app that will allow me to 'follow' news/blogs and send push alerts. Basically I'm trying to get updates but not via Twitter.

If you know the URLs of desired feeds, you can use the IFTTT.com Feed channel as a trigger ("if"), then the Boxcar2, Pushover or iOS Notifications channel to push it ("then") as a notification to iPhone/ iPad/ Watch.

Another option = the Hooks app, which has bunches of built-in feeds presented as your selection choices.
