I finally bit the bullet and am doing to the free trial of NEWS+ on my phone and iPad...but would love to read magazines on my workstation, my eyes ain't what they used to be..
For work reasons, I am not allowed to update to Mojave. Is there any way to access NEWS+ on Sierra?

The native app requires Mohave or later. There may be kludgy workarounds (IOS simulator, Mohave or greater virtual machines, ... )

Incredibly lame. Can't even find any answers via google. Apple has stuff on total lockdown...it's a simple log-in subscription service..

Think it's because Apple do so like to tie these apps to the OS. I love me my Apple stuff, and by and large I think they do great, but things like this really do frustrate me.

I'm personally of the belief that the OS should be the OS and let apps be, well, just that, fully independent standalone apps. The only technical reason I can think of was stolen why it needs Mojave is because of if they created an API call in Mojave that it needs.
