Hello, I need to know how to remove these sections. Usually I can tap and hold and press block or hide or suggest less. But with these two, Apple seem to know better than I do about what I want to / should see.

disclaimer: I’m not a “covidiot“, but I am selective about the kind of news coverage and when I’ve got the energy to look into it so I don’t get overwhelmed by all of the crap the continuous news cycle churns out during what’s a difficult year. Secondly, I have no problem with black history month, and I know And love and respect people from all races, but I also do not want to have a permanent block here ”shoving it down my throat” in want of a better word.

Look Apple, I can deal with removing ports, somewhat limiting moves to preserve the seamless ecosystem, but this stuff it taking it too far. Why can’t I choose what I don’t want to see? I was actually looking for news About Apple One, I was interested in the premier plan to get news for magazines and the other services. But if it turns out I can’t remove this they can screw it. I’m not paying to subscribe to what they tell me I should read.
