i set up a newsgroup reader today called Halime. Bottom line is im not impressed with newsgroups one bit. the app was very bland too. basically ads have destroyed newsgroups worse then email unless im missing something. im trying to read alt.lang.c++ or something and like every other message was like "free asian wives! " and trash like that. it was pretty much to the point i was thinking its not even worth reading. better off reading a moderated message board then a newsgroup.
maybe im missing something that impacts it alot, but that was a major disappointment.
that was 30 minutes i want back of my life setting that garbage up.
