So, I had put Newsstand in a folder using the quick dump method, knowing that launching it from within a folder causes the phone to crash. I am jailbroken on IOS5 but I don't know if it matters in this case.

I decided to download a magazine in the App Store, thinking it would appear in the Newsstand, but I wouldn't be able to read in unless i removed Newsstand from the folder.

When the download was complete, I was annoyed to see that it was not in the newsstand. However, the next time I resprung, I noticed the magazine was on the springboard! I could move it around, or delete it just like an app.

I thought this was cool, so I downloaded a few other magazines, however after the 1st one, the others would add but one of my apps would disappear from my 1st page....I had Mail, Safari, Settings, and Photos on my 1st page, and one or 2 of them would disappear as I added more newsstand items.

I actually think it looked kind of cool, and think this would be a cool tweak possibly for the hacker community or apple to allow you to place these in the open.
