Hi,

I was flipping through some auctions when I came across someone selling (what they claim to be) an original Newton display stand that would've been used in stores. The display comes with an original MP100 (yeah, yeah big deal, I know bad handwriting recognition) and some brochures and other things.
I was wondering if by any chance anyone has seen this in the past or knows if this is real. It's currently going for a high price, a little less than $300. If it's real, it would make a really cool addition to a collection (like mine:D)

Thanks in advance!

not only is it real, it's a really nice piece. dramatic lighting, beautiful shape, original unit (i assume)... I can't tell you what it's worth, but i'd snatch it up if i had the cash right now...

You like, yes? I found it on Yahoo! Auctions Japan. The guy set the reserve price at $850 which is too expensive for my blood.
It IS gorgeous though, isn't it?
