Next Big Apple Even when refresh could be announced?

I was holding off on getting another phone cause I wanted the next iPhone. But now my crummy phone has totally given up the ghost. Depending on how long I have to wait for it, that's gonna decide how much I spend on the phone I get now as a temp.

So I know it still needs to be announced. When is the next big Apple event that that could possibly happen?

verizon iphone came out in jan. more time to work on ios 5 and the iphone 5. lots of reasons. things can change.
