Has anybody heard any rumors fo when the next generation time capsule will be released? Considering these new wireless formats are out there, I'm wondering if Apple will adapt them release the next gen time capsule with the new formats? If so, it might be worth waiting.

I have not seen any rumors, but here is my guess what will happen. We will see new Mac portables mid-year when Intel's new Haswell chipset comes out, and those portables will support the new 802.11ac standard. Then at the same time Apple will release new routers (Airport Extreme/Time Capsule) that also support the standard.
I don't see Apple releasing the routers now with no client products that support the new standard. JMO
