Next generation Airport Express?

Hi everyone,

I have been curious if anyone might know when the next generation Airport Express will arrive? As far as I know, the current one has been on the market for 3 years already. I am looking to buy one, but don't want to if Apple will release one next couple of months.

Since Apple left out the AirPort Express when the AirPort Extreme Base Station and Time Capsules were updated a short time ago, I do not think that Apple will give the AirPort Express a refresh in the near future.

What would they even update them to?

I am not sure, but may be more efficient, faster networking, smaller size, cheaper price?
