Since the iPhone 14 base model now has 5 GPU, 6GB LPRDDR5 RAM if the base M-SoC keep up to A-series then we may see a change to 12GB and 10 GPU on base Air (or binned 9 GPU cores)?

Now the iPhone 14 just has the upgraded A15 from the 13 Pro so of no use on a new M-series (as it has already been launched) but the A16 has solely the same configuration and any new A-SoC can't downgrade RAM and GPU cores number.

I see that SK Hynix has mobile 12GB LPDDR5 density options. The GPU upgrade, on the Air, would be lacklustre (as the 10-core options is) but we would have a base M Pro with 20 GPU cores and maybe 24GB RAM?

Given Apple's integrated graphics solutions the push for more RAM may come from there instead of general multi-tasking.

The M2 also uses LPDDR5 but it starts with 8 GB. The 24 GB option is unique to the M2 so far.
