Next MacBook Pro Update

Apple have often coincided MacBook Pro updates with Intels tick-tock processor updates, so we usually had a spec bump in Q1/Q2 and and bigger bump in October. Now that we have seen the new designs for the MacBook Pro, when do you think they will update the lower-end models and how do you think they will go about it? Will they kill off the 13" and replace with a lower spec 14"? Will the current M1 Pro be the base level next year with an M2 being the new high end model?

Most likely updates (new laptops) will come whenever the die is shrinked. I don’t see Apple doing updates just to do updates. So 3nm cpu’s will likely be M2 etc.
