Apple today announced that the next round of international iPad launches will take place this Friday, July 23rd. All iPad models will be available at launch, with pricing information available through Apple's country-specific sites and stores.
Apple today announced that iPad will be available in Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand and Singapore this Friday, July 23.
The company notes that the iPad will be made available in "many more" countries later this year, with launch dates and pricing being announced close to those launches.

Apple first launched Wi-Fi-only iPad models in the United States in early April, with 3G-capable models following later that month. The first round of international iPad launches, encompassing nine countries, occurred in late May and today's announcement marks the second round of such international launches.

Big yawn for this iToy. After having an iPhone 4 for almost a month the iPad screen looks second rate. Get a Mac.

You didn't know? Apple did NOT limit iPhone owners to buy an iPad. So you CAN indeed own both and NOT have to choose one.

Don't be too excited. The Apps have gone stagnant on this thing. Nothing innovative and rehashes of iPhone apps. Why use the App when getting the info off the website using Safari is MUCH faster. Not to mention that the Apps for iPad seems to be 3x more expensive than the iPhone counter part and alot of the apps aren't universal between the iToys.

Agree with your comments. I love my iPad, but It does feel a bit stale on the App side of things. I'm sure this will change over time.

Don't worry about it ... Im in the UK.. I have a Mac 24" a Macbook White and iPod Touch and a iPhone 4 .... and I have handled and used an iPad and confidently assure you that the latter in my opinion, is a solution to a problem that doesn't exist whereas the other four aren't ... in other words .. relax if you havent got one .. you dont NEED one .. and if you still think you do .. hang on til the better model later in the year ... sorted! :D

And please .. dont thank me ... I just like to be helpful .... :p

Finally, just waiting for the prices to be released...

How come no pre-order!

Really surprised that the iPhone 4 will be available sooner than the iPad in Denmark - who would have thought?! Anyway I'm in the market for a new iPhone anyway, not an iPad, so no biggie for me.

To international customers ...

wait until you see how blazing fast is the iPhone 4 before buying an iPad

anyway, not many people can afford both the iPhone 4 and iPad with in a weeks times outside of US and other major four countries

Lmao, loved your post! But it does fit perfectly for me. Horses for courses though. I would say if I wasn't doing my current job, that it wasn't for me. Just a blinking shame it has no front facing camera and no facetime app!

Hey listen... forget the front facing camera and facetime thing ... theres lots of 'left handed websites' out there that will suffice just as well! Oh I say!!

so no preorder, huh? -.-'

I still hope that Apple will offer pre-orders for the iPhone 4 here in Switzerland through its online store like they did it in the USA when the iPhone 4 came out.:(

Haha that cracked me up for reasons i cannot say! Actually quite innocent ones, but wouldn't sound that way on a forum lol

Agreed. There is app stagnation for the iPad. The iPhone/iPod Touch constantly has new apps but they are few and far between each week with the iPad. It is a little disappointing but then again I usually just surf, Netflix, and email on it. I do some work using the iWork Suite or QuickOffice and that's enough.
