Sigh, and I thought FedEx was punctual...
My iMac was supposed to arrive Saturday for a Ground Home Delivery.
The tracking info:
And you know the funniest part? It STILL says that a day later. So its still on a truck, somewhere, maybe.
800-GO-FEDEX could tell me jack squat and the CSR was entirely unsympathetic to basically losing my computer. and i didnt even say it in those words, just that with all the tracking and world presence of FedEx, you cant find my one 30lb package.
Seems I, nor FedEx, will know until monday WHERE the thing is, or if it will even be delivered until Tuesday (Home Delivery is Tue-Sat, while normal ground is mon-fri), utter BS if you ask me. Millions of packages, scores of them my own in the last few yeas, and they lose the one thing I actually NEEDED this weekend.
The longer its "on a truck for delivery" the more likely it is to be damaged, moving from truck to storage and back, maybe multiple times even.
Next time im splurging on 2 day express, cuz even if this did happen, the Express hub is close to my house and I could go and get it. With ground, the hub is an hour or so away, and who even knows if its there.
