Next upgrade question

Can I order a phone via ATT Next without being on a mobile share plan? The reason is that we have 4 lines on the account but only one is eligible for upgrade. The other three are next September. If we switch to mobile share, there would be a $25 per line charge per month for each of the other three phones. We have a legacy plan that's pretty cheap so don't want to move to mobile share until those three lines can upgrade via Next. Thanks
