Will iPhone ever be revolutionary again? or are we gonna be getting little bumps for the rest of our iPhone days?

So are we starting rumors WAYYY early this time around?

Cut it out! I really don't care for it, would be a cool bonus but seriously all of my friends don't own Macs or have AT&T so it wouldn't be that useful at all.

Honestly, whats the point of it? To show it off?

The United States is NOT ready for it yet. Clearly!

Forget about front facing cameras!!!! Just forget it!!!

Now, I'm looking forward to a side, top and bottom camera!

Seriously...If Steve Jobs thought we were ready for a front side camera he would have given it to us. Jeez!

Ok, would have been cool but oh well...Maybe next year. ;)

WWDC SAN FRANCISCO-June 8, 2009-Apple® today unveiled the Apple Videoconferencing Kit®, the world's first videoconference accessory for the world's best phone, the iPhone 3G S. Using a unique silicon-based mirror material and natural bamboo wood for its handle and base, the Apple Videoconferencing Kit measures an unprecedented 0.5 inches at its thinnest point. Its low weight and unique shape—developed following strict Human Interface tests and anatomical studies—will allow the user to easily hold it in front of the iPhone 3G S camera, allowing face-to-face video communication with users all around the world.

"Yes, I know" said senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing and Apple's Cool Guy at Large Phil Schiller, "we did it again. With this kit all the whiners will be happy. I know. We kick ass." The Apple Videoconferencing Kit ultra-shiny surface allows for an extremely clear image, the best in its class, and can be easily customized using any kind of materials, from stickers to Crayola. It will be available in June 19 for $29.

Apple ignited the personal computer revolution in the 1970s with the Apple II and reinvented the personal computer in the 1980s with the Macintosh. Today, Apple continues to lead the industry in innovation with its award-winning computers, OS X operating system and iLife and professional applications. Apple is also spearheading the digital media revolution with its iPod portable music and video players and iTunes online store, and has entered the mobile phone market with its revolutionary iPhone.

OMG

AT&T won't allow it I'm sure. Even on Wifi LOL They also eat babies for breakfast.

I've wanted iChat since day 1 mostly to talk to my husband when he's out of town on business. It would be fun and we'd use it.

I have a couple of Nokia's with front-facing cameras. I assume they'd be cool to use. However, my AT&T plan through work doesn't cover the video conferencing. Since AT&T can't seem to get MMS right, and can't seem to do tethering without an obscene fee, I really don't see them allowing a front-facing camera and videoconferencing. Thus, you'd be limited to using it on WiFi, which becomes a lot less appealing.

So, yeah, a front-facing camera would have been really cool... except that you couldn't use it on AT&T's crap networks.

New SDK gives developer access to dock port.

Optional front facing dock port cam.

i started to think that my old k510 had video recording, front facing cam, mms, 2mpx, mp4, mp3 and worked all the week :X OMG!
