I have a Powermac G3 B&W 400MHz running 10.4.11.
This system does not come with internal modem. I have a Nexxtech USB modem (NSMODX2) that I have never used.
When I plugged in the modem Mac OS recognizes the modem as follows:
---------------------------------------------
Agere USB2.0 V.92 SoftModem:

Version: 2.00
Bus Power (mA): 500
Speed: Up to 12 Mb/sec
Manufacturer: Agere Systems
Product ID: 0x2892
Vendor ID: 0x047e
------------------------------------------
Modem Information:

Modem Model:
Modulation: V.90
Driver: com.apple.driver.AppleSCCSerial (v1.3.0)
Country:

------------------------------------------------------

BUT i can not use the modem... Mac OS Fax program does not see the modem and I can not dial out

Is there anyway i can fix this?

Thanks
