iPad NFL Sunday Ticket for IPad

I purchased the Madden 25 Anniversary edition which comes with a free subscription of NFL Sunday Ticket for Laptop, Ipad, Iphone. Do any JB'ers have any experience with airplaying the app to the ATV? I use unrestrict premium and it can airplay almost everything except the DirectTV app.

I want to be able to watch my football on my Ipad, Laptop, and stream the game from my iphone to ATV2 and just wondering if it would be possible with the app.

I dont know, I am in US so I don't believe I can use NFL Game Pass, just Sunday Ticket. It would be great if it worked that way, but I am sure DirectTV is pricks about airplaying like all other cable providers.
 
Use PlayOn (it's $49 for a lifetime subscription).

View NFL from the app, PlayOn supports Airplay, VOILA...

That's how I do NFLRewind for now, and plan on doing the regular season.

PlayOn rocks anyway. Like Slingbox for your PC, and even though it takes a lot of bandwith to run well, it's usable even over 3G if needed.

It will not.

DirecTV aren't idiots, and with most households having an iPad or iPhone now, there'd be no need if it AirPlayed easily. There are workarounds however....
 
DirecTV usually updates their app in September right before the season commences (and another update is coming out this year, as anticpated), so there's no way to definitively know if Airplay will be supported for this season, or not. Will just have to wait and see.

If not supported within the app, a fallback would be to Airplay mirror within iOS.

What are the workarounds? The PlayOn app?
 
I bought the XBox game for exactly this reason. I hadn't cracked it open yet, but was expecting to do so today. Can anyone tell me how the video quality is? Is it HD-quality (specifically, how is it when viewed on a laptop)? Does the iPad app support AirPlay?

I've used NFL GameRewind before and was pleased with the PQ of that (close to HD quality), so if you have any experience with that, I'd love to hear how it compares.
 
if the app doesn't have airplay inside the videos then you can mirror instead by double clicking and swipe to the left and click the airplay then click on mirror. It's not as good as native app airplay playing, but it's ok.
 
Yeah, given this year's edition of the Sunday Ticket app unfortunately only allows you to Airplay the audio portion, your only only option (unless your device is jailbroken), is to use the Airplay mirroring feature on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch (double-click your home button, swipe left, tap Airplay button, and mirror).

Not ideal, but it works. Also, for an optimal experience (improved picture, less stutter), ideally you would want your Apple TV connected to your router via Ethernet, and a strong wireless connection between your iPad and your router.
 
The app works great I absolutely love NFL red zone. If you have a jailbroken app you can use underestrictpremium and it will work perfectly for true Airplay.

The setting that works for UNrestrict are:
Mirroring - on
Override 3 - on
Everything else off.

Can you explain more about the unrescritpremium?

I just downloaded it and am having a hard time getting any video to pop up.

What apps are you trying to airplay? I gave a list of combos in a previous post for the apps I have been able to airplay using Unrestrict.
