I have been using a lot of old books to learn cocoa. The problem with the Hillegass book, I think, is that many of the examples involve semi-complicated programs that are long and take a while to enter. Less is learned than with others where the steps are smaller and individual debugging problems are easier to track. Unfortunately the Hillegass book is the only current one available.

Recently, I have picked up the cocoa recipe book, which is good in a lot of ways.

One recent problem is translating the interface builder to current xcode format. The big problem is with the classes tab on the nib window. I don't seem to be able to figure out what this corresponds to in current xcode IB.

Any suggestions. Thanks.
