Was looking for a music notation ipad app and found Symphony Pro.

It's quite nice for my needs anyhow,
allowing note and chord entry by onscreen keyboard, touch or midi.
Playback with built in instruments, export to mp3, midi, PDF, etc.

New version just came out and the price seems amazing
compared what a pc program would cost, and it's on sale 80% off till Monday.

Not related to the author but thought I'd pass this one along...
 
Thanks for the heads up! Saw this a few months back but was reluctant to shell out the cash for it. £1.99 is a bargain for what looks to be a fully featured notation app.
