Hi, currently I'm editing 1080p videos captured with gopro with GoPro studio 2.0. But there's just not enough that can be done with that software. I have tried after effects but rendering is just too slow for my laptop. I need a video editing software that is better suited for my current mcbook air specs and has a lot of effects and stuff. Do you know any?

Mac OS X 10.9.2
Processor 1.7 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB

Apple iMovie 10 is fantastic for what you want and is affordable. You can get it on the App Store if you did not have it already.
