Nighstand Mode Alarms?

So like a lot of people I have my Apple Watch set to silent. It only vibrates on my arm.

The other day I set an alarm for the first time and wore my watch. Sure enough it woke me by vibrating. Of course by sleeping with it on, I could only charge it while I took a shower.

So my questions is, in Nightstand Mode, will an alarm go off audibly even if the watch is set to silent?

This would be the only thing I want it to make noise for.

When I have had alarms set on my watch, which is in silent mode, and it is not on my wrist when the alarm goes off it makes a sound. When its on the wrist it vibrates.
