I have an iPhone xs max which is now on iOS 13.1.2 . I took some photographs in the low light today and they looked spectacular. The low light photography was definitely nowhere near this good on iOS 12 . I know that night mode is supposed to be exclusive to this years iPhones but is this a software feature which is working on last years phones also?

I have never had good results on iOS 12 with low light photography so it was a surprise to see the photographs turn out so well

Night Mode is only on the new iPhones, but iOS 13 did bring software improvements to older phones, no where close to Night Mode though.
