Anyone have any tips for taking good photos in nightclubs? The auto option is rubbish as it gives off too much flash and people just look white.

I've got a good point and shoot, the Sony DSC-W200, 12mp. Should I be using the lowest aperture number with a high ISO? Would lowering the flash intensity work? I want decent looking photos where people's skin colour looks natural.

This is a tough question because as you said flash would make people look "unnatural" but since you are using a P&S with a very high megapixel count in a nightclub I'm guessing the ISO you'd need to use would be very high and produce almost unusable noise. I tried my Sony W55 on the highest ISO and the results were quite terrible. Depends if you're trying to get quality or just get shots.
