In the past, Apple has clearly sold a "Nike Edition" Aluminum watch when they release a new Series. I believe it even had the Nike "swoosh" etched on the back of the watch body itself, differentiating it from the standard Aluminum model. This year, when I go to that Nike page, there is nothing but Nike bands, and seemingly no way to buy a "Nike Edition" watch any more. Is there truly a Nike Edition watch this year? Or is it just the bands that make it "Nike"? I know in the past those Nike Editions were just the Aluminum Edition with the Nike logo on the back - so there really wasn't a difference anyway. But did they officially drop that option this year (besides just the bands)?

They changed it a year or two back. There is no longer a nike edition and the Nike watch faces are now available in all versions of the watch.

Changed with the S8. Now you just buy the regular watch and choose the Nike band. You have access to all the Nike faces.

Thanks for the clarification, that makes sense. It looks like the Hermes Editions are still unique vs. the standard Stainless models. So I guess it's basically just the Aluminum, Stainless, and Hermes editions now.
