Unfortunately you have to have a nano...the kit only works with that.

Apple doesn't want its customers running around with anything but flash memory since the hard drives in the videos and other iPods have moving parts so it is easier to break.

All the more reason to get a nano anyway....they are sweeeeeeeeet

When you plug it into the video it gives you a warning message that you cant use it with that type of ipod.

That's such crap haha!

I run all the time with my video, just because it's big... never had any issues with it. Never dropped it either.

Grr... maybe i'll buy one of the old 1gb ones, just for running...
