I bought the Nike Plus package...and have just plugged it into my iphone.

It says that it's unsupported...

Anyone got any suggestions? Is it possible to get it working?

or are there any apps that i can download that will help?

it does not work with iPhone or iPod Touch. I'd return it if I were you.

doesnt the nike plus package says it only works with the ipod nano?

while i agree it would be cool if it worked on the touch/ophone, the label for nano only is very apparent on the package lol

hmm...bought it in Japan. So the label on the package wasn't exactly clear!

any apps that might do the same thing?

There are a few apps on the store that use the GPS to track your runs, but you need to keep the auto-lock off to use these, so they are a real battery killer.

I would love for the Nike+ kit to work too. I have a first gen iPhone so iTrail doesn't work very well from what I've heard. I have heard rumors that the Nike+ kit will be coming out for the iPhone but I don't think anything is verified.
