Nike plus stopped talking today

hello all I need some help, I have been using the nike Plus system with my 3gs 3.1.3 and everything was working fine until last night run, the plus system stopped talking to me everything else seems fine but it just wont talk. I have tried every setting i know of , with rebooting the iphone numerous times to no avail

can anyone help me out on this

Probably a dead battery; try replacing the sole unit.

Probably a dead battery; try replacing the sole unit.

I've got one of the older iPod remote control Nike+ watches and it now doesn't work with my Touch that I upgraded to iOS 4.

Anyone experiencing issues like this? I really loved the remote watch and am bummed that it apparently isn't supported on iOS 4 anymore. It works fine with my older square Nano but not my Touch...
