I unfortunately have the problem that the app NRC constantly crashes or freezes when I select a guided workout. After that, it won't start at all until I restart the watch or force close the app.
Uninstalling and reinstalling the app has not helped unfortunately.

I have the Series 7 (OS 8.3) Nike Edition.

Does anyone also have these problems?

I’d try signing out of NRC on iPhone, then delete the app both on iPhone and AW and restart both devices. Then install NRC both on iP and AW. Sign in, then try that workout again.

PS: update to 8.4 first, it came out yesterday.

Thanks. I had already tried all this and unfortunately it did not help but since the 8.4 update it seems to work without problems.

I am glad 8.4 resolved the problem. I love NRC - especially the guided runs, I’d say the GRs are the no 1 reason I have managed to run as long as I have. My only gripe is I am doing the half marathon training plan and doing a guided run with just the watch does not update the plan, must have the iPhone on the run for it to register.

I tried the GRs once but it was literally the instructor chiming in every km or so with "....you're doing great" or "....you're actually running" and other general ".....well done" terminology which I didn't really find helpful during a run!!

Try "Just Another Run" or a GR that is about a subject not specifically a distance or performance.

Would you say that an absolute beginner can start run with GR?

100%. I am no pro and one thing I have learnt is (and to quote Coach Bennett who does the GR) it's easy to run hard, a lot of the time I would feel I have to beast myself, beat my previous time or go further, absolutely ruin myself or I was not getting benefit. The GR have taught me that is wrong. I do a lot of "easy" runs so I want to run again.

Great info in them, what to wear in certain conditions, how to run - i.e relaxed, when to push, how to breath etc I recommend doing one of the training plans and listen to the GRs in sequence. I play music and the GR plays over the top of it.

Thank you for sharing your experience. That motivates me even more to start
