Is it just me or does NRC calculate about 10% lower calorie count than Apple Workout app??
It's either NRC that is quite conservative in regard to calorie count or Apple is too generous.

Somehow I believe it would be NRC that is too conservative, though.

My height: 5'11
Weight: 150 lbs

For example, a 5 km run on two different occasions:

NRC
Pace: 5'13"
Time: 26:22 min
Active: 305 CAL
Total: 343 CAL

Apple
Pace: 5'22"
Time: 27:04 min
Active: 331 CAL
Total: 370 CAL

Avg. heartrate was about the same on both runs (+-3bpm). So basically I ran faster with the NRC app yet it gave me a lower calorie count than Apple... and it seems to happen on a consistent basis.

Another example, 10 km run:

NRC

Pace: 4'44"
Time: 48:30 min
Active: 593 CAL
Total: 661 CAL

Really? Only 593 Active CAL? This seems like a pretty low number for a 10 km run esp. at such pace, or am I wrong??

Unfortunately I don't have Apple's measurements for the 10k, but I'm quite sure I'd get a higher number.

PS.: I did all my runs with Apple Watch (3 & 4)
