I have searched around for word on this, but haven't found any. I would hope that it would work since they are both flash-based. Anyone know/try this?

On the iPhone, as soon as you plug it in, it says that the attached accessory isn't supported.

It works on all generations of the nano and nothing else. Considering there have been a number of other iPods out since the first Nano came out, I wouldn't hold my breath. It's a little extra money (although I use my Nano 2G almost exclusively now, I bought it for Nike+), but the Nike armband, Nike+iPod, iPod Nano combination is amazing. I never regret having bought it.

weird... in the swedish apple store site it says: this accessory is compatible with the following ipods:
all nanos, ipod classic and touch

This is the US Store:

Its not entirely of importance, as I don't plan to get an iPod touch. (I currently have a 1G nano and 60 gb 5G iPod) Just interesting to know. Hopefully someone can chime in once they get one and try it.

Well that is really a shame! The iPhone I can understand, it is kinda big to run with, but the iPod touch is about as thin as a nano! This means if I were to get an iPod Touch, I would still need my nano for nike + running, and my 60gb video to hold all my stuff! What a rip-off! I guess I will be sticking with my current configuration then.
